I hadn't updated this information for around a year, probably two, so I figured I should do something about it. Mainly to put off more important things. Like writing papers or cleaning rooms.

My name is Amanda. If you've made it this far down the page without figuring that out, you've got some problems. Don't worry, though. I'll forgive your oversight. I am twenty-one years old, and I live near Vancouver, for those of you without intimate knowledge of the Fraser Valley. I live with my dad and my younger brother because I'm too lazy to move and too cheap to pay rent.

I'm currently completing the fourth (and last!) year of my BA, I've actually got five courses left after this semester, so I should be done next winter. (Only four and a half years! Hurrah!) Then I have to decide if I want to pursue my MA. I'm seriously afraid of a Master's degree because I don't want to write a thesis, but I'm majoring in history and if I want to be an archivist or cataloguer or anything, I need an MA. Brr. I've pretty much narrowed down my future career to be something (anything!) in a museum, well, anything that isn't customer service. I still have to.. figure out how to do that though. I attend the University College of the Fraser Valley, mainly because it's cheap and in my town, so I don't have to move away, pay rent or drive. I don't have a driver's license. I like to tell people that I don't drive because I am environmentally conscious, but in all seriousness I am just lazy.

I work at Sears. (I know.) Most of my entries in here have something to do with me whinging about work, because I'm whingy. Who spells whine like that?! Anyway- I work, and I go to school, and I sleep. Mostly sleep. When I'm not sleeping, I'm reading books of little literary merit, and playing the Sims2. I don't have a boyfriend, but that's probably because of the lazyness, combined with the fact that I'm chubby and geeky. I'm quite the catch, you see.

Well, that's enough self deprication. If you don't like me, well, don't add me, and if you do, you should probably leave a comment or I might not notice you and forget to add you back, which would be a tragedy.

Don't worry though, it used to be mostly friends only but I've become very lax in that regard, so most of my entries are public nowadays.
